Ronny participated in the 2025 Metropolitan Planning International Conference Youth Salon in Shanghai as a representative of the Global Track program. This event gathered planners, designers, local officials, and international experts to discuss transforming Fuxing Island into a people-centered smart city.

As one of three international students invited to the panel discussion, Ronny offered his insights on the role of architecture in community development. He highlighted the need to preserve the island’s industrial and maritime heritage, prioritize people over private vehicles, and keep human experience at the forefront as technology and artificial intelligence shape future urban development.

Ronny's involvement and presence in the news embodied the values emphasized in the Global Track program, such as intentional design, cultural awareness, adaptive reuse, and positive social impact.
