This week our University of Hawaii GT8 cohort arrived in Shanghai to begin their registration at Tongji University. Upon arrival they were introduced to the Tongji students joining them in GT8, as well as met with the GT7 cohort to see what they've been working on this last semester.
Many of the students chose to incorporate additional travel on their way from Hawaii to Shanghai making stops in Japan or Taiwan.
Students stopped at various architectural landmarks during their travels including Hiroshi Hara's Umeda Sky Tower and Kinkakuji.
Heres' to wishing GT8 the best and they settle into Shanghai and prepare for summer internships with the CSCEC.
